Certified Nurse Assistant-Med Tech (CNA-M)

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to healthcare provider orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following regulatory guidelines
• Report changes in residents’ physical condition or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication, leisure activities, and incidents
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services
• Provide emotional and social support to residents
• Document daily logs of assistance and inform supervisors of resident issues
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to community policies

Requirements

• Active CNA-M license in Maine
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Experience caring for residents with memory impairment (preferred for memory care assignments)
