Certified Nurse Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform or assist residents with basic personal hygiene and activities of daily living
• Provide resident care encompassing social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures
• Communicate resident status and condition to immediate supervisors
• Learn resident preferences to personalize care delivery

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License
• 3–6 months of experience in long-term care preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to perform medium-heavy physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk constantly during working hours
