About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
- Operate under the supervision of Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses
- Support various settings including Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services, and Skilled Nursing Facility
- Maintain availability for on-call requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Current State of California Nurse Aide certification
- Current CPR certificate
- Ability to perform essential duties as defined by the State of California Nursing Practice Act
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of clinical experience as a CNA in an acute care or skilled nursing facility
- One to three months of related experience and/or training
