Certified Medication Aide

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with state regulations and company guidelines.
• Supervise self-administered medications and manage medication inventory, including ordering supplies and verifying accuracy.
• Maintain accurate medication records (MAR/TAR) and ensure proper storage and disposal of medications.
• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care.
• Perform general nursing tasks such as monitoring vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, and weight.
• Document resident information in daily logs and maintain complete medical charts for admissions.
• Clean and restock medication carts daily and perform weekly deep cleanings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Medication Technician certification.
• At least 1 month of related experience.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Senior Living environment.
