Certified Medication Aide

Responsibilities

• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with state regulations and company guidelines
• Supervise self-administered medications and manage medication inventory, including ordering and verifying accuracy
• Maintain accurate medication records (MAR/TAR) and ensure proper storage of all medications
• Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care
• Perform general nursing tasks such as monitoring vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, and weight
• Document resident information in daily logs and maintain complete medical charts for admissions
• Clean and restock medication carts daily and perform weekly deep cleaning

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Medication Technician certification
• 1+ months of experience (Senior Living experience preferred)
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
