About the role
Responsibilities
- Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with state regulations and company guidelines
- Supervise self-administered medications and manage medication inventory, including ordering and verifying accuracy
- Maintain accurate medication records (MAR/TAR) and ensure proper storage of all medications
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and incontinence care
- Perform general nursing tasks such as monitoring vital signs, temperature, blood pressure, and weight
- Document resident information in daily logs and maintain complete medical charts for admissions
- Clean and restock medication carts daily and perform weekly deep cleaning
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Medication Technician certification
- 1+ months of experience (Senior Living experience preferred)
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
