About the role

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments per healthcare provider orders
  • Supervise residents who self-administer medication following regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical condition and behaviors
  • Maintain records for medication distribution, incidents, and observations
  • Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, dining, and escorts
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents
  • Follow community policies, procedures, and supervisor schedules
  • Maintain safety standards and emergency preparedness

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Active CMA license
  • Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly and assist residents physically
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Memory care experience preferred for memory care assignments
