Certified Central Sterile Supply Technician

Responsibilities

• Clean, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and instrument sets
• Assemble and distribute case carts for surgery based on pick tickets
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and biological tests
• Deliver carts to the surgery staging room
• Comply with hospital-wide infection prevention and control programs
• Collaborate interdepartmentally with Surgery and various nursing units

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician) certification or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a healthcare environment
