Certified Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results
• Review physician referrals and medical records to determine required physical therapy treatment
• Provide direct patient care following established protocols and guidelines
• Document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers
• Oversee patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete written plans of care, including goal development and comprehensive programs
• Implement and provide essential physical therapy treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies
• Ensure timely documentation of daily notes, workers' compensation reports, and progress reports

Requirements

• Licensed as a NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer in the state of Delaware or license eligible
