Certified Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site services at client sites in Arlington, WA
• Create and maintain positive relationships with client contacts and employees
• Provide education and training focused on injury and illness prevention
• Manage work and non-work-related discomforts onsite
• Follow OSHA Health and Safety practices and First Aid standards
• Implement Early Discomfort Management (EDM) programs
• Perform Functional Employment Testing, Return to Work services, and Ergonomic Assessments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in web-based systems

Requirements

• Education in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related field
• Appropriate certifications and/or state license in good standing
• Current CPR/AED or BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Demonstrated knowledge of musculoskeletal injury care
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent standing/walking

Preferred Qualifications

• Ergonomic Certification or training
• 1-2 years experience in industrial/office ergonomics or industrial sports medicine
• Experience in functional employment testing or job task analysis
