Certification System Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Develop and document standardized test methods and processes to ensure repeatability and productivity
• Contribute to cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
• Coordinate technical messaging and partner with the FAA on regulatory issues
• Develop and execute strategic action plans through completion
• Own and manage technical execution of process and procedure documents
• Ensure proper technical coordination across products, platforms, and functional areas to promote compliance
• Enable effective changes and efficient solutions across the Certification value stream

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Associate level: 2+ years of related work experience
• Mid-Level: 5+ years of related work experience
• Senior level: 9+ years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with the FAA and/or ODA on Type Certification projects
• Experience dealing with regulatory agencies or federal regulations
• Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, Title 14 CFR Parts 21, 25, and 183, or FAA Orders 8100.15 and 8110.4C
• Proficiency using technological tools and business system applications to manage and interpret data
• Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership
