About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead certification projects and draft technical justifications
- Ensure product compliance with aeronautical authority requirements
- Write technical documentation and certification strategies in English
- Select "worst-case" scenarios for test campaigns
- Produce technical justifications including numerical simulations and CAD measurements
- Design test plans for flammability and mechanical testing
- Analyze test results and synthesize reports for technical management
- Analyze in-service incidents and identify root causes to maintain airworthiness
Requirements
- Engineer or Master's degree level
- Over 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Solid expertise in aeronautical certification (cabin interiors or seats preferred)
- Mastery of standards: AC25.562, AS8049, CS/FAR 25/27/29
- Knowledge of Part 21 J / Part 145 processes
- Expertise in Fire Certification (CS 25.853) and ETSO C39 / C127
- Deep understanding of Airworthiness and Continued Airworthiness
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Italian language skills are a plus
