Certification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead certification projects and draft technical justifications
• Ensure product compliance with aeronautical authority requirements
• Write technical documentation and certification strategies in English
• Select "worst-case" scenarios for test campaigns
• Produce technical justifications including numerical simulations and CAD measurements
• Design test plans for flammability and mechanical testing
• Analyze test results and synthesize reports for technical management
• Analyze in-service incidents and identify root causes to maintain airworthiness

Requirements

• Engineer or Master's degree level
• Over 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Solid expertise in aeronautical certification (cabin interiors or seats preferred)
• Mastery of standards: AC25.562, AS8049, CS/FAR 25/27/29
• Knowledge of Part 21 J / Part 145 processes
• Expertise in Fire Certification (CS 25.853) and ETSO C39 / C127
• Deep understanding of Airworthiness and Continued Airworthiness
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Italian language skills are a plus
