Certification & Authorization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure train compliance with European and national regulations by collecting evidence of conformity.
• Coordinate with independent certification bodies to obtain necessary certificates.
• Submit certificates to European and national authorities to authorize market placement.
• Maintain compliance throughout the production and operational phases by monitoring technical modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, industrialization, quality, and validation to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated.
• Consolidate evidence dossiers and manage the submission and feedback process with certification organisms.
• Establish and track certification activity indicators and implement associated action plans.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent university education.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple subjects in parallel.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to facilitate collaboration across different departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is considered a significant asset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a design office (bureau d'études).
• Experience in validation or testing environments.
