Certification & Authorization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare certification evidences in close collaboration with project team members
• Support the C&A Manager in the identification and preparation of requirements for Certification and Authorisation
• Collect and compile C&A evidences for submission to conformity assessment bodies and authorising entities
• Maintain certification-related data in requirement management tools such as Doors or Excel
• Organize periodic reviews of evidence documentation and assessment reports
• Compile and track C&A relevant reporting, including KPIs and cost overviews
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, RAMS, Quality, and Validation
• Coordinate with independent assessors and authorising entities (e.g., ERA or NSAs)

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Law, or a related field
• Proven experience working on engineering projects
• Fluency in French and English (B2 level minimum)
• Proficiency with MS Office tools
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills in a technical environment
• Ability to foster communication between multiple stakeholders
• Rigorous, curious, and autonomous work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in the German language
• Experience with requirement management tools like IBM DOORS
