Certificate Technician

Responsibilities

• Learn to process certificates of insurance by supporting clients and service teams with requests and endorsement questions
• Review basic contract and certificate requirements to identify coverage needs and compliance
• Maintain accurate account documentation within the EPIC system
• Review insurance policies to accurately represent coverage on certificate templates
• Assist with renewal processes and special projects as requested
• Collaborate with the Service Team to identify necessary coverages and limits

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Basic to intermediate proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Comfort learning new computer systems and software

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year college degree
• Previous office, administrative, or customer service experience
