Centre Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Kalba Mountain Camp, including accommodation, facilities, and programme schedules.
• Oversee on-site programme delivery to ensure activities run to schedule and meet high quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for visiting schools and group leaders to ensure a professional guest experience.
• Supervise and develop on-site staff, including instructors and support teams, through briefings and task allocation.
• Monitor the quality of programme delivery and provide coaching and feedback to Senior Instructors.
• Ensure all safety procedures, safeguarding standards, and welfare protocols are strictly implemented.
• Oversee camp facilities and equipment, reporting maintenance needs and ensuring operational areas are functional.
• Make real-time operational decisions regarding staff allocation and site management to respond to changing conditions.

Requirements

• Experience managing outdoor residential programmes, camps, or experiential learning environments.
• Experience supervising and developing staff teams.
• Strong organisational and operational coordination skills.
• Experience working with schools and educational groups.
• Relevant First Aid qualification.
• Experience managing facilities, accommodation, or guest operations.
• Full UAE driving licence or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong understanding of risk management and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership or management qualification.
• Technical outdoor qualifications.
• Experience working in remote or expedition-based environments.
