Centralized Lending Specialist (Mortgage Loan Officer)

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound and initiate outbound calls within a call center environment to assist clients with home financing, refinancing, or home equity lines of credit.
• Analyze client financial goals to determine and recommend optimal lending product solutions.
• Submit mortgage applications and assist clients with gathering necessary supporting loan documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and business partners via phone, email, and online messaging throughout the lending process.
• Utilize multiple technology systems to manage the end-to-end client origination experience and resolve problems.
• Identify opportunities to recommend bank products through partner referrals to ensure exceptional client care.

Requirements

• 1+ years of sales and/or mortgage experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a SAFE Act background check and maintain registration.
• Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and non-verbal professional engagement.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
• Proven ability to work under pressure during high volumes and manage multiple competing tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a contact center environment.
• Knowledge of various loan products including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loans.
• Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.
• Understanding of processing, underwriting, closing procedures, and federal lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and credit data to provide financial alternatives.
