Centralized Lending Specialist (Mortgage Loan Officer)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client care by answering inbound and initiating outbound calls to uncover lending needs.
• Assist clients in determining the best solutions for home financing, refinancing, or home equity lines of credit.
• Analyze client financial goals and determine the most optimal lending product solutions.
• Submit mortgage applications and assist clients with gathering necessary supporting loan documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and business partners via phone, email, and online messaging.
• Leverage defined lending processes and policies to manage risks and meet regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• 1+ year of sales and/or mortgage experience.
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Eligibility for SAFE Act registration and successful completion of required background checks.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage high call volumes under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a contact center environment.
• Knowledge of various loan products including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loans.
• Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.
• Understanding of processing, underwriting, or closing procedures and federal lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and credit data to provide client alternatives.
