About the role
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound and initiate outbound calls within a call center environment to assist clients with home financing, refinancing, and home equity lines of credit.
- Analyze client financial goals to determine the most optimal lending product solutions.
- Submit mortgage applications and assist clients with gathering necessary supporting loan documentation.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and business partners via phone, email, and online messaging throughout the lending process.
- Leverage defined lending processes and policies to manage risks and meet regulatory guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to recommend bank products through partner referrals to provide exceptional client care.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in sales and/or mortgage lending.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SAFE Act registration.
- Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and non-verbal professional engagement.
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work effectively under pressure during high volumes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a contact center environment.
- Knowledge of various loan products including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loans.
- Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.
- Understanding of processing, underwriting, closing procedures, and federal lending regulations.
- Ability to analyze complex financial and credit data to provide consultative advice.
