Centralized Lending Specialist (Mortgage Loan Officer)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client care by answering inbound calls and initiating outbound calls to uncover lending needs.
• Assist clients in determining the best solutions for home purchases, refinancing, or home equity lines of credit.
• Analyze client financial goals and determine the most optimal lending product solutions.
• Submit mortgage applications and assist clients with gathering necessary supporting loan documentation.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and business partners via phone, email, and online messaging.
• Utilize multiple technology systems and follow defined lending processes to manage risks and meet guidelines.

Requirements

• 1+ year of sales and/or mortgage experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a SAFE Act background check and maintain registration.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.
• Ability to work in an onsite call center environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work under pressure during high volumes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a contact center environment.
• Knowledge of various loan products including Conventional, Jumbo, and Government loans.
• Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.
• Understanding of processing, underwriting, or closing procedures and federal lending regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and credit data to provide financial alternatives.
