Central Fill Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Perform technical verification for Central Fill orders, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Complete Central Fill and robotic system reporting analysis to support performance monitoring and process improvements
• Provide virtual and telephone counselling, assessments, and service appointments for remote dispensary support
• Assist with Long Term Care pharmacist tasks, including clinical reviews and communication with LTC facilities
• Participate in organizational initiatives and projects to advance pharmacy programs and services
• Ensure onsite pharmacist presence at the Central Fill location in accordance with provincial regulations

Requirements

• License to practice pharmacy in PEI or another Canadian province
• Passion for community pharmacy practice
• Dedication to client care and improving people's lives
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical verification
• Comfort working with automated dispensing and robotic technology
• Excellent communication skills for delivering clinical services virtually
