About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive six-month leadership development program involving extensive travel to various plasma centers.
- Manage and motivate diverse teams, providing performance feedback, conducting reviews, and supporting staff development.
- Drive operational excellence in high-volume blood plasma collection facilities through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Cultivate a positive donor experience to ensure high levels of customer service and donor retention.
- Collaborate with senior management to solve problems and implement operational support strategies.
- Complete the training program to transition into a permanent Plasma Center Operations Manager role.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
- Willingness to travel 90-100% during the training program.
- Ability to relocate to a permanent BioLife location upon completion of the program.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift materials up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments (SOPs, GDP, GMP, CLIA, or FDA).
- Experience in high-volume retail or clinical operations.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical leadership skills.
