About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive six-month leadership development program to learn high-volume blood plasma collection operations
- Manage and motivate diverse teams, providing performance feedback, conducting reviews, and supporting staff development
- Drive operational excellence by problem-solving, communicating with senior management, and ensuring exceptional donor experiences
- Network with leaders across the country to prepare for a permanent Plasma Center Operations Manager role
- Execute hands-on training across various BioLife locations to master all aspects of facility management
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports)
- Willingness to travel 90-100% during the training program
- Ability to relocate to a permanent BioLife location upon completion of the program
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (SOP, GDP, GMP, CLIA, or FDA)
- Experience in high-volume retail or clinical operations
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical leadership skills
