About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in an advanced six-month leadership development program involving extensive nationwide travel to learn plasma center operations.
  • Manage and motivate diverse teams, providing performance feedback, conducting reviews, and supporting staff development.
  • Drive operational excellence in high-volume blood plasma collection facilities through hands-on training and mentorship.
  • Cultivate a positive donor experience to ensure high levels of customer service and donor retention.
  • Collaborate with senior management to solve problems and implement operational support strategies.
  • Prepare for a permanent Plasma Center Operations Manager role, which requires relocation upon program completion.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
  • Willingness to travel 90-100% during the training program.
  • Ability to relocate to a BioLife location upon successful completion of the program.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for entire shifts and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (SOP, GDP, GMP, CLIA, or FDA).
  • Experience in high-volume retail or clinical operations.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical leadership skills.
