About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in an intensive six-month leadership development program involving 90-100% travel to various plasma centers.
- Manage and motivate diverse teams, including conducting performance reviews, staff planning, and recruiting.
- Drive personal learning plans to master all aspects of managing high-volume blood plasma collection facilities.
- Ensure exceptional customer service to maintain donor retention and a positive donor experience.
- Provide operational support, problem-solve in fast-paced environments, and communicate effectively with senior management.
- Prepare for a permanent Plasma Center Operations Manager role, which requires relocation upon program completion.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience leading medium to large teams (20+ direct reports).
- Ability to travel 90-100% of the time during the training period.
- Willingness to relocate to a BioLife location upon completion of the program.
- Valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring fine motor coordination.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments (SOP, GDP, GMP, CLIA, or FDA).
- Experience in high-volume retail or regulated operational settings.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical leadership skills.
