Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and administrative support to teaching staff and children
• Manage staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and terminations
• Maintain center enrollment at capacity
• Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, agency policies, and the Education Code
• Maintain accurate site records including enrollment, attendance, and curriculum
• Conduct monthly site meetings and quarterly Parent Advisory Council meetings
• Serve as the legal designee for receiving legal documents
• Maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate environment for children
• Implement individual goals for children through IFSP, IEP, or developmental assessments
• Maintain positive communication with families and public/private agencies

Requirements

• Site Supervisor Permit from the Department of Education
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Required CPR/First Aid Training Certification
• Completion of CCL Record Keeping Component and required health/safety training
• Compliance with Senate Bill 792 immunization requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• A.A. in Early Childhood Education
• 2 years of teaching experience and 2 years of supervision experience
• Meet Title 5 and Title 22 requirements for a fully qualified site director
• Bilingual skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
