Cemetery Grounds Keeper

Responsibilities

• Maintain general upkeep of external cemetery properties, including mowing lawns, weeding, and raking
• Perform gardening tasks such as watering and planting shrubs
• Manage litter removal and sweeping of sidewalks
• Service external amenities and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies
• Conduct basic maintenance of lawn equipment
• Manage personal time effectively to complete assigned tasks
• Adhere to all Health & Safety standards and use required personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of experience in lawn maintenance
• Familiarity with operating lawn equipment and industrial tools
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards and OH&S regulations
• Must be willing to obtain a Criminal Police Check
• Must complete required documentation for working with vulnerable adults
