Cellular Communications/RF Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and management of major projects related to Cellular System technologies at MUTC
• Perform RF Spectrum Engineering and management in support of Multidomain operations
• Coordinate spectrum requests through state and federal entities
• Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines and provide ongoing monitoring during Tactical Training Events (TTE)
• Perform local deconfliction activities for TTE

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or related discipline
• Minimum of five years of experience in Cellular System Operations, RF, and Spectrum Management
• Hands-on operational experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular technologies
• Experience with FCC Experimental Special Temporary Authority (STA) Licensing Applications
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with various cellular frequencies and coordination with license owners
• Demonstrated experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with customers
• Working knowledge of telecommunications equipment and transmission media
