About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and perform pluripotent stem cell assays within a production-focused laboratory environment
  • Plan and monitor resources for stem cell editing and differentiation technologies, including inventory control and equipment coordination
  • Execute experimental design, method development, and the adaptation of laboratory protocols
  • Perform data collection and analysis, ensuring meticulous documentation of all results
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify variations in testing protocols, and refine quality control measures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including project managers and engineering teams, to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, departmental assistants, and trainees

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological sciences or a related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional laboratory experience
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry and FACS sorting
  • Hands-on experience with immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence
  • Experience with in situ hybridization
  • Expertise in managing complex 2D and 3D cellular cultures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four (4) or more years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement research protocols through published authorship
  • Proven success in coordinating multiple concurrent assignments or multi-faceted projects
