About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and perform pluripotent stem cell assays within a production-focused laboratory environment
- Plan and monitor resources for stem cell editing and differentiation technologies, including inventory control and equipment coordination
- Execute experimental design, method development, and the adaptation of laboratory protocols
- Perform data collection and analysis, ensuring meticulous documentation of all results
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify variations in testing protocols, and refine quality control measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including project managers and engineering teams, to ensure smooth operations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, departmental assistants, and trainees
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biological sciences or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional laboratory experience
- Proficiency in flow cytometry and FACS sorting
- Hands-on experience with immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence
- Experience with in situ hybridization
- Expertise in managing complex 2D and 3D cellular cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- Four (4) or more years of relevant laboratory experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement research protocols through published authorship
- Proven success in coordinating multiple concurrent assignments or multi-faceted projects
