About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform and implement cell cultures for various platforms, including 2D and 3D cultures.
  • Maintain cell cultures associated with the laboratory core’s activities.
  • Assist with assay development, cell culture setup, and automation support for cell screening.
  • Document results, implement protocols from literature, and troubleshoot experimental variations.
  • Plan and monitor resources, including inventory control and equipment coordination.
  • Contribute to the exchange of research information through demonstration and instruction.
  • Assist in training others within or external to the assigned work area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or a related discipline.
  • 0-2 years of directly related experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D cell culture techniques.
  • Knowledge of High Content Screening (HCS) and single cell-omics.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop research protocols and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude toward detail management.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with human clinical sample handling.
  • Experience with laboratory automation.
