About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect various manufacturing processes and activities to ensure parts meet engineering standards.
- Manufacture and test parts according to customer specifications and engineering blueprints.
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, and tool marks from machined parts to meet tolerance requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on operated machines and equipment.
- Ensure continuous flow of materials through the assigned cell and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless transitions for team members.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment.
- Ability to read and correctly interpret basic blueprint drawings.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of 60 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
