About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate and inspect special processes including aluminum surface preparation, cone rolling, cleaning, deburring, and laser identification
- Manufacture and test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications
- Remove burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, and other irregularities from machined parts to meet blueprint and tolerance requirements
- Maintain accurate and reliable documentation and part identification per planning specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on operated machines and equipment
- Ensure continuous flow of materials through the assigned cell and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Communicate shift change requirements to ensure seamless team transitions
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years of production experience
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint drawings
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull up to 60 lbs
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed
