About the role
Responsibilities
- Examine telephone records to ascertain significant call patterns and geographic relevance
- Extract data to prepare visual aids for investigations, trials, and Grand Jury proceedings
- Testify under oath regarding performed analyses
- Review analytical work and visual aids prepared by other analysts for accuracy
- Act as a subject matter resource on phone records analysis, geo-spatial mapping, and telecommunication infrastructure (GSM/CDMA, LTE/VoLTE)
- Conduct drive tests to collect survey information related to cellular towers
- Assist in drafting subpoenas and court orders involving telephone records
- Interact with telephone companies, law enforcement, and city agencies
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage and format large or inconsistent data sets
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of relevant experience, OR
- High school graduation and six years of relevant experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have at least one year of experience related to the duties described
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas and data formatting)
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Exceptional oral communication and interpersonal skills
