CEI Senior Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications
• Verify engineering computations, inspect construction work, and conduct field testing to maintain quality and compliance standards
• Coordinate, oversee, and provide guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activities
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements through detailed inspection activities
• Conduct daily field inspections and maintain accurate, organized inspection records and reports
• Participate in punch list development, system testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project completion standards are met
• Track and report on quality assurance progress, identifying and addressing any deficiencies
• Contribute to documentation for area and equipment turnover packages for project closeout

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Valid US Driver’s License required

Preferred Qualifications

• Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction
• CTQP certifications (Final Estimates, Concrete Field Technician, Asphalt Roadway, Earthwork Construction, Pile Driving, or Drilled Shaft Inspection)
• FDOT Intermediate MOT
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification
