CDP ETL & Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable ETL pipelines to feed downstream data systems
• Onboard new clients by solidifying business requirements, performing ETL file validation, and executing complex aggregations
• Analyze and implement incremental change requests while ensuring no negative impact on downstream processes
• Adhere to change data management procedures and participate in peer-to-peer code and solution reviews
• Collaborate with Solutions Management, Delivery, and Product Engineering teams to streamline processes and build repeatable models
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to discuss best practices and technical approaches

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in ETL and database engineering
• Strong expertise in relational data modeling and ETL/FTP concepts
• Advanced proficiency in SQL functions and analytics
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS (S3, EC2, EMR concepts)
• Proficiency with JSON and XML data formats
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira
• Working knowledge of Git for version control
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or DMExpress
• Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, or PL/SQL
• Familiarity with NoSQL database methodologies
• Experience with workflow management tools like Apache Airflow or Kafka
