CDLA Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport food products from the warehouse to customer locations via tractor-trailer
• Unload products by hand or using hand carts down ramps, stairs, or docks in various weather conditions
• Ensure timely delivery according to assigned routes and customer specifications
• Manage customer returns and damaged goods, transporting them back to the warehouse
• Complete all required paperwork, including DOT logs, vehicle inspections, and maintenance reports
• Maintain food safety protocols, including temperature monitoring and preventing cross-contamination
• Maintain sanitary conditions within the tractor, trailer, and warehouse areas
• Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and clear communication

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• High school diploma, GED, or completion of a tractor-trailer driving school
• Ability to lift, push, or move products weighing up to 50 lbs by hand
• Ability to push/pull up to 350 lbs using a 2-wheeled hand cart
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English to interact with the public and complete official reports
• Ability to operate a tractor-trailer unit in various traffic and weather conditions
