CDL Senior Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck or designated vehicle to transport goods over long distances
• Load and unload cargo using proper handling methods and equipment
• Ensure cargo is properly secured according to safety requirements and company policies
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery documentation
• Follow all safety protocols and promptly report any incidents or vehicle issues to management

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent physical condition and stamina for long-distance driving
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class A CDL driver
