CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport company equipment, supplies, and workers to various work locations safely and on time
• Ensure trucks are loaded properly, adhering to legal weight limits and securing loads correctly
• Perform regular inspections of work equipment for preventative maintenance and report any damage
• Maintain compliance with all D.O.T. requirements and ensure vehicle inspections are current
• Abide by all company safety and operational policies, including participation in pre-job safety meetings
• Assist with occasional cleaning, repair, and inventory work in the shop or warehouse as directed
• Manage and report any shortages or equipment problems to the Operations Manager or Field Crew Supervisor

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Current D.O.T. medical card
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
• Mechanical abilities and aptitude for equipment maintenance
• Fluency in English with the ability to read and interpret DOT logs and safety manuals
• Ability to travel across state lines up to 70% of the time
• Must successfully pass pre- and post-employment drug and alcohol tests

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of commercial driving experience
