CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and recyclables
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit condition reports
• Maneuver trucks into tight spaces and use mirrors to back up safely
• Maintain DOT logbooks, daily route productivity sheets, and required documentation
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public to address inquiries
• Ensure clean customer sites by cleaning up loose trash or spills during the dumping process
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria according to company standards
