CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end trucks to collect solid waste and recyclables along designated multi-family and commercial routes
• Maneuver heavy equipment in tight spaces, high-traffic areas, and minimum-clearance environments
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
• Ensure site safety by following Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and scanning for pedestrians
• Interact professionally with customers and maintain clean service sites by clearing loose debris
• Handle physical tasks including opening enclosure gates and positioning containers for dumping

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B
• Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience or an accredited CDL school certificate
• Ability to meet all DOT and company criteria for safety-sensitive functions
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions and high-energy environments
