CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks safely and responsibly during winter storms
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues immediately
• Communicate with Route Manager or Dispatch about unsafe situations or service needs
• Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions
• Assist other drivers or routes when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Pass a DOT drug screen and MVR review
• Clean driving record with no serious violations or multiple accidents within the past 5 years
• Be 18 or older
• Willingness to travel to snow locations and stay for the duration of the event
• Attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required

• $35/hour pay rate
• Overtime opportunities available during extended snow events and travel
• Paid travel time, hotel, and per diem for out-of-town work
