About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate snowplow trucks safely and responsibly during winter storms
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety rules
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues immediately
- Communicate with Route Manager or Dispatch about unsafe situations or service needs
- Participate in required safety meetings and training sessions
- Assist other drivers or routes when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Pass a DOT drug screen and MVR review
- Clean driving record with no serious violations or multiple accidents within the past 5 years
- Be 18 or older
- Willingness to travel to snow locations and stay for the duration of the event
- Attend an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season starts
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required
