CDL Driver - Commercial Frontload

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport it to post-collection facilities
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and submit required condition reports
• Maneuver trucks into and out of minimum clearance spaces and use mirrors to back up safely
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public to address questions or requests
• Maintain and submit DOT logbooks, daily route/productivity sheets, and vehicle condition reports
• Follow all safe operating practices, including lock out/tag out procedures and adherence to DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations
• Monitor operations to detect and clean up loose debris to maintain customer site safety

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to pass safety-sensitive function criteria according to company standards
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions
