CDL Driver - Commercial Frontload

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport it to post-collection facilities
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports
• Open container enclosures or gates and maneuver cans into position for dumping
• Maintain and submit DOT logbooks, daily route/productivity sheets, and inspection reports
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public to address questions or requests
• Clean loose trash from the truck and surrounding areas to maintain site safety and cleanliness
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria and demonstrate safe vehicle operation
• High school diploma or GED is desired but not required
