CDL Driver - Commercial Frontload

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and transport it to post-collection facilities
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and submit vehicle condition reports
• Maneuver trucks into and out of minimum clearance spaces using mirrors to back up
• Maintain and submit DOT logbooks, daily route/productivity sheets, and inspection reports
• Interact courteously with customers and the general public to respond to requests or questions
• Ensure cleanliness of customer sites by cleaning up loose trash spilled during the dumping process
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• At least 21 years of age
• Minimum of one year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive function criteria according to company standards
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds occasionally and work in various outdoor weather conditions
