CDL Driver

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, security, and control of the armored vehicle at all times
• Guard the Messenger during the actual delivery or pick up of valuables at customer locations
• Maintain radio communication with the Messenger, vehicle crew, and dispatch personnel
• Load and unload the armored vehicle as necessary
• Report all vehicle faults and complete required driving route documentation
• Ensure the overall cleanliness of the vehicle's interior and exterior
• Provide a high level of customer service to clients at all times
• Assist with the movement of secured valuables within the facility as needed
• Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy all DOT requirements
• Valid firearms permit or ability to obtain one
• Valid guard card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly throughout an assigned shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working closely with customers in a field-based environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
