CDL Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles according to state and federal transportation laws
• Transport loads safely and in a timely manner following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas
• Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment
• Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and required paperwork
• Facilitate routine vehicle service and report maintenance malfunctions
• Arrange trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns

Requirements

• Class A CDL or appropriate chauffeur’s license
• Ability to pass background and drug testing per DOT regulations
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods in a trailer cab
