About the role
Responsibilities
- Transport, deliver, and unload windows and doors to customers using a tractor trailer
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Observe all DOT regulations and defensive driving techniques
- Safely unload materials and verify quality with customers
- Complete driver logs, timecards, and other necessary documentation
- Scan products via handheld device
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a D.O.T. Medical Certificate
- 2 years of tractor trailer driving experience, including winter driving
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually
- Ability to load and unload items in various weather conditions
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous hands-on delivery experience
