CDL Class A Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Assist in the loading and unloading of products at customer locations
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of windows and doors
• Safely drive truck in accordance with Federal regulations and in various weather/traffic conditions
• Maintain required compliance records including driver logs, ELD, and fuel purchases
• Answer customer questions regarding packing lists, invoices, and material content

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years of commercial truck driving experience
• Acceptable accident and moving violation Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent lifting and carrying
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer, phone, and email

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Zebra phones
• Experience with FlexiPod or equivalent scanning systems
