CDL Class A Driver

Responsibilities

• Complete all daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork
• Follow scheduled routes under the direction of the traffic manager
• Prepare vehicles for operation by clearing debris, snow, or other hazards
• Drive vehicles along designated pathways or as instructed by spotters
• Monitor and ensure all load securement policies are followed
• Operate various vehicles including pick-up trucks and semis
• Operate trailer hitches, ramps, and equipment securements
• Adhere to all state and Federal traffic and DOT laws and regulations
• Maintain a positive company image through professional conduct and communication

Requirements

• Valid Class A driver’s license
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• 2+ years of verifiable experience with equipment
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Proficiency with GPS and routing systems
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement with 5+ years of experience
• Familiarity with electronic logbooks
• Samsara experience
• Additional construction certifications or training
