CDL Class A Driver

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites using a tractor-trailer
• Perform thorough pre and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment
• Report necessary repairs and maintenance immediately
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines
• Load and unload truck using a Manitou or Moffett
• Verify entire content loads prior to leaving facility or job site
• Follow all safety procedures for transporting goods

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to tarp using Conestoga XP Roll Tarp Systems and strap flatbed loads
• Ability to operate trailer mounted forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually
• Ability to work independently or with a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-drop delivery experience
