About the role
Responsibilities
- Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
- Label containers and complete manifests, work orders, and bills of lading
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report safety violations or spills
- Maintain daily contact with customers to deliver and collect waste containers
- Process Universal Hazardous Waste manifests and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs)
- Load and transport waste safely in tankers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
- English fluency (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- TWIC Card
- Experience driving box trucks
